In one compact housing, the Xeva-1.7-640 digital camera combines a thermo-electrically cooled InGaAs detector head and the control and communication electronics and is perfectly suited for applications that require high resolution at medium sensitivity operation.

The Xeva-1.7-640 unit is available with standard infrared (0.9 to 1.7 µm) InGaAs detector arrays and comes in various speed versions: 15Hz, 25Hz and 90Hz. It allows you to choose the most suitable detector-camera configuration for your specific application. The camera head interfaces to a PC via standard USB 2.0 or CameraLink. Each camera is delivered with a graphical user interface X-Control software, which offers direct access to camera settings such as exposure time and operating temperature. The software tools include two-point uniformity correction and bad pixel replacement. Also offered is an SDK for developers that supports C++, VB, Linux and LabView.

The advantages of the XEVA-1.7-640 include: high frame rate, windowing for increased frame rate; superb low dark current and low-noise imaging; reduced overhead for high-speed process monitoring, flexibility and ease-of-use. The Xeva is spectrograph compatible.

The Xeva features high resolution with 640x512 pixels; True Non Uniformity Correction; Interchangeable lenses; Radiometric Calibrations for thermal imaging of hot objects and Comprehensive Thermal Analysis software available.

Applications for this camera include:

Research and development (SWIR range)
Laser Beam Profiling
Low-light level imaging
Vision enhancement (automotive or airborne applications)
On-line process control
Medical applications
Paper pulp processing
High temperature thermography (200°C to 800°C range)
Hyperspectral imaging
Semiconductor inspection
