Lightweight, compact, easy-to-use and simple to integrate, the UI-1005XS-C suits a large number of industrial vision applications - kiosks and embedded systems, medical engineering, biometry, unmanned vehicles, access control, webcam projects - any application that requires a small smart amera to fit a very tight space.
Equipped with Aptina’s 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor and a pixel size of 1.4 µm, the camera delivers excellent image quality and accuracy in colour reproduction – even in the harshest ambient light conditions. At full resolution (2592 x 1944) the camera captures at 15 fps via its JPEG mode or up to 30 fps via binning.
An impressive range of automatic functions guarantees outstanding usability and the compact camera (23 x 26.5 x 21.5 mm) allows for an easy and space-saving integration while being built from robust but lightweight magnesium housing.

| • Automatic image control | Numerous functions for auto image control, including auto white balance, auto gain and auto exposure time, are executed internally in the camera, reducing the CPU utilization and allowing easier processing of the images independently of the PC system. The YUV format supplies finished colour images uncompressed directly from the camera for further processing. With exposure compensation, backlight compensation, photometry and anti-flicker function options, there is huge scope for adapting the automatic image control. |
