Point-Of-View mini camera with remote control
Built with a remote control apability to be completely flexible while retaining a light-weight, small footprint, the Flare 2K SDI live broadcast camera, is typically used in situations where conventional cameras prove to be too large. Where some professional mini-cams require a separate camera control unit, all of the 2KSDI's functions can be set directly on the camera head.

Incorporating the flexible colour processing and optics support required by video professionals, the Flare 2KSDI weighs only 310 grams and has a footprint of 63 × 63 × 44 mm makes this remotely-controlled camera great for attaching on corner posts, goal posts or to moving vehicles and aircraft.

Although small, this compact camera gives 2048h x 1080v pixels, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI data outputs and includes 2K, 1080p, 720p and CXP modes.

Acknowledging that many productions shoot RAW video, the camera offers RAW out and so keep the same workflow for every camera in the shoot. The camera can be configured in full 2K RAW for digitial cinema one day, then 422 interlaced for live broadcast the next. All of this is configured with an on-screen overlay and easy to use small hand-held remote, or by attaching an RS485 cable for long distance control. It also offers a second video output without overlay for live broadcast.

Not only is the Flare 2KSDI useful for live sports broadcasting and filming, it also has applications in the fields of medical science and security.

Features
• Compact, one-piece, rugged, colour camera • True SYNC IN for stereo 3D and genlock capability • YCbCr, and RAW color modes
• Low noise and high light sensitivity • Auto-exposure and auto white balance • Adjustable colour matrix, saturation, and gamma
• Operates without CCU • Very clean image due to double-sampling and global shutter • Screen menu output
