The TMC-2040GE is a compact Gigabit Ethernet progressive scan colour
CCD camera with UXGA resolution for high performance in industrial applications.
The RMC model is identical but also complies to the ROHS hazardous substances
standards. With a dual-tap front-end, the TMC-2040GE provides 34 frames
per second at full resolution and higher frame rates with Binning and
Area Of Interest (AOI). It also features a user selectable single-tap
mode at 17 fps.
The GigE Vision interface standard ensures high bandwidth (1000 Mbps),
uncompromised data transfer up to 100 meter cable lengths with the ability
to connect to multiple computers. Additionally low cost cables, standard
hardware and high scalability allow for cost effective machine vision
and image processing applications. The TMC-2040GE offers a high Signal
to Noise ratio of >58 dB. It has a patent-pending, built-in look-up
table (LUT) and automatic dual channel compensation which provides fast
10-bit to 8-bit pre-processing for effective image feature enhancement.
It offers tremendous flexibility in shutter speeds and scan modes including
pulse-width controlled or fixed electronic shuttering up to 1/32,000 second,
asynchronous reset no delay shuttering.
A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI), provided as part of
the camera's extensive Software Development Kit (SDK), allows users to
control all camera functions easily. Changes to the acquisition mode of
the camera automatically update the API for easy image acquisition.
With its GigE architecture, the TMC-2040GE is ideally suited for use
in a very wide variety of applications where high resolution, size, performance,
cost or cable length is important.
