Vision Research's Phantom Miro M320S digital high-speed camera

Cost-effective, easy-to-use and compact, the Miro C110 colour and mono high-speed camera is suited to any situation that needs high-quality/high-speed capture and is suitable for a wide variety of deployments from industrial trouble-shooting to laboratory analysis.

Features
The sensor
Based on a 1.3 Mpx, 1/2"-format, 5.6 µm pixel CMOS sensor with 1.0 Gpx throughput, the sensor captures critical details at 800 fps with very low noise. Lower the resolution and the camera captures at a very high 29 840 frames-per-second.

Exposure time

The camera's exposure time can be set as low as 5 microseconds to help eliminate motion blur and freeze objects in motion.

Connectivity
The small-bodied but strong camera connects to signaling with common BNC cables and uses a standard Ethernet cable for camera control and data downloading.

Easy-to-use signals

Am accessible Trigger BNC and two programmable I/O BNCs make the camera easy to control in any situation.

The trigger
The Miro's C110's easy-to-use but powerful Phantom Camera Control software makes capturing a smooth process; adjusting image characteristics like colour and brightness and then automatically recording them into a circular buffer. Setting the trigger options determines which images are saved to RAM - images before, after or on either side of the trigger (depending on the set up of the event).

Memory
Equipped with 8 GB RAM allowes a 5-second recording time at maximum frame rate and resolution. Longer recording times are achieved by lowering the rate and the resolution.

Advanced features
Also included are a set of advanced features that support analysis. These include:
• Image-based Auto-trigger: where the camera is triggered when motion is detected in the event - a boon when capturing unpredictable or rare events
• Multi-cine: internal memory can be partitioned into up to 63 segments and not miss back-to-back action by capturing in shorter segments
• Continuous recording: continuous recording mode automatically saves a cine to a connected PC immediately upon capture and then sets itself up to capture again.
