Mamba-100
Back to Image Processors
Back to Coreco Frame Grabbers

The Mamba is a Pentium®II based embedded vision processor designed to accelerate machine vision and medical imaging applications. Designed to off-load intensive image processing tasks from the host computer and execute the tasks on its embedded processor, the Mamba leverages the ever-increasing clock speeds and MMX acceleration of Intel's recognized series of x86 processors to optimize processing performance.

The Mamba utilizes the embedded Windows NT operating system with Coreco Imaging's set of MMX optimized imaging libraries to accelerate application development. The Mamba allows specific imaging applications to be easily loaded from the host, on-board "Disk-On-Chip" (DOC) or through a network controller using the Microsoft Visual Studio compiler/linker/debugger environment. The DOC permits the Mamba to operate autonomously from the host computer.
