Ideal for integration into flat panel, electronics, and semiconductor inspection, the Xtium-CLHS PX frame grabber series combines reliability and performance with up to seven data lanes. This results in the capacity to capture at aggregate data rates of 2.1GB/s and to sustain host transfer bandwidth of over 3.2GB/s (Xtium PX8).

Cost effective and easy to integrate, the Xtium CLHS PX frame grabbers feature seamless multi-board synchronization and built-in capability to re-distribute incoming images at maximum camera speeds to as many as six additional frame grabbers. Consequently, images can be distributed across multiple computers for processing.

Delivering maximum bandwidth without the need for specialized motherboards or chipsets, the Xtium PX minimizes CPU usage and improves processing times for host applications.

The Xtium series' enhanced memory architecture meets the ever-increasing image resolution and faster frame rates of today’s imaging technology and are fully supported by Sapera LT at no additional cost.

Sapera LT is an image acquisition and control software development toolkit (SDK) for Teledyne DALSA’S cameras and frame grabbers. Hardware independent, Sapera LT offers a rich development system for machine vision OEMs and system integrators. Sapera LT supports image acquisition from cameras and frame grabbers based on standards including GigE Vision™, CameraLink® and CameraLink HS™.

Image processing and analysis functions provided by Sapera include over 400 image processing primitives, barcode tool, pattern matching tools both area-based and edge-based, OCR, color, blob analysis, measurement and calibration tools for perspective and lens correction. The standard tools run-time license includes access to image processing functions, area based (normalized correlation based) template matching tool, blob analysis and lens correction tool.
