High performance at less cost for industry, science and entertainment

All-purpose, mid-range and budget conscious high-speed cameras
Noted for their high-end, ultra-slow-motion products, Vision Research's Phantom VEO offers a choice of 8 high-speed models and four performance levels in 2 body types to make a better job of choosing the right camera to suit your specific needs at a more affordable price-point.

Two body types
Versatile and flexible, the Phantom VEO is offered with two body types: L (Light) or S (full featured) and three levels of on-board memory to suit your required record time.

The L style includes everything needed for software-based capture and motion analysis and suits traditional imaging applications, while the extra-featured S models include additional signal availability, on-camera controls for portability, ruggedized connectors and compatibility with removable CFast 2.0 storage media.

Both L and S versions are available with a choice of three levels of on-board memory (18GB, 36GB or 72GB). Additionally, the S models come with a CFast 2.0 non-volatile memory card for easy and fast offloads to non-volatile memory. This is especially suited to using the VEO as a remote or un-tethered camera. Read more detail about the Phantom VEO

Phantom VEO for Film and TV - for affordable, super-slow-motion capture
Catering to the budget-conscious Film and TV media VEO offers a choice between two attractively-priced, high-speed models.

Both the VEO 640S and the VEO 340S include features such as additional signal availability, on-camera controls for use with video monitors, ruggedized connectors and compatibility with removable CFast 2.0 storage media. Additionally, the cameras' small 5" form factor, together with Abel Cine Essentials kit, enable a number of different rigging options.

Uninterrupted workflow
Cines are recorded to the camera's on-board RAM, trimmed and then saved to CFast media which can be swapped out when full. This workflow eliminates downtime by keeping the camera online and waiting for the next capture. Multiple takes are also possible with the large 72GB RAM capacity which can be segmented.

Capture time
Capturing more frames than most comparable cameras in today's market and depending on the type of shot being taken, the frame rate and resolution can be adjusted.

For the VEO 640S, shoot 1400 fps at 2560 x 1600 or reduce the resolution to 1920 x 1080 for 2500 fps.

The VEO 340S can provide 800 fps at full resolution and 1100 fps at the reduced resolution of 1920 x 1080. Other variations to resolution and frame rate are also possible. Recording time at full resolution for the VEO 640S is 8.5 seconds and for the VEO 340S, recording time is 15 seconds at maximum resolution; both saved into maximum internal memory. About CFast
The CFast workflow is similar to the CineFlash module of the Phantom Miro. Cine files are recorded first to RAM and then transferred to the card at a speed of 90MB/second. As with the Miro Cineflash the VEO CFast card does not support Run/Stop mode or playback over video and must be formatted NTFS. Because of this format, no special drivers are required for downloading the cine files via Windows or Mac.

The VEO is offered at a lower price point than Vision Research's other high-performance cameras
