Adding very little to the camera's size, and weighing just over 400 g, Colibri is ideally suited for mobile applications. Responding to customer requests for a an extremely small and cost-effective camera housing, with just 50 x 50 mm (w x h) and 181 mm, or 211 mm, the overall length is only slightly larger than the protected camera with lens and port.

Built for cameras with a 29 x 29 or 30 x 30 mm cross section and lenses with a maximum diameter of 39 mm, the enclosure adds only 10 mm space between the camera and the outer enclosure wall. A variety of connectors with up to 20.5 mm in diameter can be inserted. The 30 - 40 mm profile adapter can be easily fitted to the modular design and are attached to machines with a newly-developed dovetail profile system. Using an M25 cable gland allows feed-through and sealing of cables/plugs with diameters of up to 21 mm.

Rated IP66 (NEMA 4 + 6), the enclosure's opening window enables the use of wide-angle lens as they can be installed right behind the front window. Additionally, optional, tamper-proof enclosure lids can be attached to prevent unauthorised adjustment of the lens.
