Gocator 3500 series- a choice for inline
inspections where reduced complexity and cost are driving factors
Built on the typical Gocator "scan,
measure, control" capability and described as the "next level
in structured light technology, this highly-accurate and, currently, industry-leading
sensor with excellent speed, makes it ideal for the robust inspection
of small parts that are momentarily stationary in an inline process. Scanning
while stationary results in less vibration errors.
Pick-and-place friendly, the medium FOV sensor detects the finest features
on small parts with its 5-megapixel stereo camera that minimizes occlusions,
and with measurement reliability ensured at production speed. Fast production
speeds are achieved via an embedded dual-core controller with onboard
hardware acceleration to achieve fast production speeds, and a long-life
industrial LED projector offering up to 10 years of continuous operation.
Applications
The Gocator 3500 3D cameras are designed for highly-accurate small-parts inspection
such as step-height, gap, roughness and coplanarity measurements common
in electronics enclosure, PCB and battery/IC connector applications.
