The Fusion Flex-Eye series by industrial camera manufacturer JAI empowers vision system designers with the ability to choose where and how wide wavebands are. The Fusion Flex leverages JAI's powerful FusionSeries 2-CMOS and 3-CMOS prism-based multispectral cameras.

The Fusion Flex-Eye camera models allows users to access powerful inspection techniques as all Flex-Eye cameras are fine tuned to look at specific features. This can reveal new and additional imaging information as well as reduce cost and time to develop an application.

JAI offers an easy-to-use online configuration to customise your camera. In a simple step-by-step process you select the number of sensors, the resolution and whether Bayer or monochrome sensors are to be used in the visible spectrum. Then the intuitive GUI lets you drag and place your wavebands on a spectral chart at required wavelength locations, and then select the width of those wavebands.

• 2 or 3 wavebands located anywhere between 405-1000 nm.
• Wavebands can be as narrow as 25 nm at increments of 5 nm.
• Separate or unified control of key camera parameters for each channel. • Single- and multi-ROI modes.
• Precision Time Protocol support
• Low-noise Sony PregiusTM IMX273 (1.6 megapixels) or IMX252 (3.2 megapixels) per waveband.
• Option to use Bayer sensor in visible spectrum to provide additional spectral data. • Easy to use on-line configuration for smooth project start-up.
• Multispectra 2 or 3-CMOS prism cameras that allow for customisation of wavebands for a specific application.
• 10GBASE-T GigE Interface (GigE Vision and GenICam compliant) auto-negotiates to lower speeds as needed.
