The Unibrain Fire-i™ Digital Board Camera is an IEEE-1394 IIDC 1.04 compliant CCD progressive scan board level camera with VGA resolution. It is suitable for industrial OEM applications and outputs uncompressed VGA images. This camera is capable of speeds of up to 30 frames per second at full resolution. The Fire-i Digital Board Camera is available in 3 versions:
- Fire-i™ Color Digital Board Camera OEM
- Fire-i™ B/W Digital Board Camera OEM
- Fire-i™ RAW Color Digital Board Camera OEM.
This camera has an on-board 6 pin 1394a port and a second 6 pin 1394a port on a removable daughter board. The extra light sensitivity and low smear minimise airtifacts to provide a superior video grade image. The standard M12x0.5 lens base provides for a variety of S-mount lens options.
The Fire-i™ Digital Board Camera operates with any 3rd party IEEE-1394 PCI or PCMCIA (CardBus) OHCI compliant adapter or any Desktop/Portable PC or Mac with built-in FireWire support. It is provided with embedded hardware license for Unibrain’s Fire-i™ Software & SDK.
The Unibrain Fire-i™ Digital Board Camera is a good quality, low-cost subassembly for OEM use.
