Sapera Essential
DALSA brings to you Sapera Essential: a cost-effective software imaging
toolkit that bundles board level acquisition and control with image
processing tools providing the critical functionality to design, develop
and deploy high-performance machine vision applications. Sapera Essential
offers users a single API and a comprehensive feature set, including
program portability, versatile camera controls, flexible display functionality
and management, and easy-to-use application development wizards… The Victoria Racing Club (VRC), in conjunction with TVN in Melbourne Australia, has recently acquired the Phantom V10 from Vision Research Inc (VRI) to provide super slow motion replay for the finish line at its Flemington horse racing events. The Phantom V10 was used at the recent Melbourne Cup and proved to be extremely useful as this year’s Cup event provided a very close finish between Viewed and second placed Bauer… iDS GigE uEye SE camera series
iDS imaging have expanded their broad range of uEye industrial cameras
with a new class of very small Gigabit Ethernet cameras – the
GigE uEye SE series. These cameras range from VGA to 5 megapixel resolution.
Most models are available in monochrome or colour and the high-quality
CCD or CMOS sensors make way for a wide range of applications… When people talk about software for GigE Vision cameras they are
usually referring to the drivers required for image capture. Now,
for the first time Stemmer Imaging is turning the tables by offering
an innovative GigE Vision Server for Common Vision Blox (CVB). With
the new GigE Vision Server, a suitably equipped computer behaves like
a complete GigE Vision and GenICam compatible camera, with freely
configurable features… Dual line scan architecture doubles image sensor responsivity without shot noise penalty. Machine vision performance requirements always increase. Nowhere are these demands stronger than in linescan imaging, where integration times are mere microseconds and budget and safety concerns limit the available light. … Each month in Machine Vision Technology News we offer our readers the first opportunity to purchase products with special discounts. The products on offer will be ex-demo or stock clearance items. They will be offered for a period of one week to our newsletter readers before being offered on our web site.
