Federal
Govenment Tax Break for new equipment
Till 30 June 2009 Only
Here is what we have heard but as we are
not qualified to give you tax advice talk to your accountant before making
any decisions.
As part of its package to stimulate the
economy and encourage capital expenditure, the Government has introduced
a 30% Investment Allowance. The allowance will be offered on almost
all new plant and equipment, motor vehicles and other assets that are
acquired between the 13
December 2008 and before the
30 June 2009.
From the 1 of July 2009
the allowance will be scaled back to
10%.
If you were thinking of purchasing or

that decision as the tax benefits are very generous.
