Quality, flexibility and affordability: Xenics Onca for accurate analysis

** High image resolution
** Multi-spectral imaging
** High flexibility in use
** Highly-sensitive imaging performance

Combining high quality, high flexibility and affordability, the Onca series of mid wave cameras are perfect where performance is critical.

Intended as an upgrade replacement for the Xmid range of cameras, the Onca series includes additional and more flexible features such as a filter wheel and thermography.

The Onca family of MWIR cameras consists of four models all using advanced real-time image correction and are equipped with either state-of-the-art InSb or MCT sensors and with either 320 x 256 pixels or with 640 x 512 pixels. All models feature a Stirling Cooler and have options for either CameraLink or Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) for camera control and image acquisition. This high-speed output offers 14-bit images.

The MCT sensor offers a spectral range from 3.7 µm to 4.8 µm and the InSb camera from 3.6 µm to 4.8 µm with an extended range option from 1.0 µm to 4.8 µm.

Both models offer two speed versions: a standard video rate version and a high speed version - 60Hz or 320Hz for the MCT cameras and 60Hz or 488Hz for the InSb cameras.

All camera functions can be controlled and settings are stored in non-volatile memory to enable maximum efficiency. All are optimized for highly stable stand-alone and PC-driven thermal imaging and thermography applications.

Also incorporated as part of the Onca products, are Xenics' many useful features found on their other Infrared cameras including Window of Interest, Radiometric calibration, high sensitivity and flexibility.

What are the benefits and features of the Onca MCT and InSb MWIR cameras?

High definition images
Up to 640 x 512 pixels for high image quality.
Extended coverage for MW range (Onca InSb model)
From 1 to 5 µm supporting all-weather and night vision applications
Filter Wheel
Up to 5 filters can be added to the filter wheel in order to perform multi-spectral measurements
Ultimate dynamic range
Hot and cold spots can be viewed in one sequence using super framing mode which increases the dynamic range
Window of Interest   Increase frame rate and reduce overhead for high speed process monitoring
Performance optimization
Easy and continuous access to control parameters such as integration time and frame rate
Thermal imaging   Radiometric calibrations are available to measure temperatures of objects with utmost accuracy
Comprehensive thermal analysis
Interface with Thermography Studio, most popular recording and analysis tool for dynamic events
CameraLink and full frame rate for high speed imaging   Export real time more than 100 fps.
GigE Vision-compatible
More than 100 images per second according to GigE Vision standard.
