Users of USB uEye models can benefit from the considerably easier installation process. Where the driver installation previously had to be confirmed several times upon initial connection of the camera, Windows now immediately installs the certified drivers in the background. This makes it possible for the user to go from “plug” to “play” quicker – a particularly useful shortcut when cameras have to be installed e.g. on keyboard-less terminals.

The driver for the GigE uEye camera must only be installed once, so that additional cameras can be connected and used without user interaction.
