iDS incorporates DirectShow popular Windows interface option for its uEye cameras

DirectShowMIcrosoft provides DirectX as a means of connecting multimedia equipment directly and conveniently. The DirectShow driver component is the interface for cameras.

iDS has now included the DirectShow camera-interface driver as part of their SDK, providing a universal connection option that supports nearly all of the features in the SDK toolkit for both USB and GigE model uEye cameras. DirectShow is very popular in view of the simplicity with which all iDS cameras can be quickly and easily integrated.

The DirectShow interface is an integral component of the uEye software package and is included as part of all iDS cameras or is available for download free-of-charge from Adept. Please note that for more demanding applications, iDS offers their SDK in addition to other interfaces such as TWAIN, ActiveX or GenICam. Offering a range of options in software and drivers enables simple integration via C, C++ or C# under Windows and Linux which allows all available camera features to be utilized to their fullest capacity.
Please contact Adept Electronic Solutions for a free download of this driver
