Incorporating Teledyne DALSA’s latest line scan technology, the Spyder3 GigE surpasses its predecessor, the Spyder2, with three times more responsivity (when operating in high sensitivity - dual line scan - mode) while maintaining the same dynamic range. Fully programmable, the Spyder3 offers precise control over key performance variables such as gain and offset.
The advantage of GigE technology
Having a GigE Vision interface, a frame grabber is no longer needed resulting in significant system cost savings. Easy to use, a GUI is provided allowing imaging to begin in minutes.
Advanced features
In addition
to its high performance and affordability, Spyder3 GigE also incorporates
advanced features such as flat field correction and CDS (Correlated Double
Sampling).

| About the SG-34 colour models | |||
| Based on the Spyder3 dual line scan model, this bilinear camera provides high colour fidelity, flexibility and a low cost solution and has the red and blue colour pixels alternating in one line and all the green pixels in the other line with no spacing between the lines (see illustration on right). Several colour output format options, including RGB, RG/BG, or G are offered to meet different imaging requirements. Also incorporated are advanced features such as flat field correction, automatic white balance, and the camera is pre-calibrated to light sources such as white LEDs for ease of use. |  |
