New Sapera SDK for Teledyne DALSA CameraLink cameras
Designed for GenCP-ready Piranha 4 and Falcon 2 cameras when using 3rd-party frame grabbers
Available free and for immediate download, is the Sapera
Camera SDK providing a rich set of software API to control
and configure supported cameras using the CameraLink serial port provided
by the 3rd-party frame grabbers. (Note: The Sapera Camera SDK does not
replace 3rd party frame grabber software APIs. Vendor specific API must
be used to configure and acquire images with the vendor- supplied frame
grabber.
The Camera SDK installations include the following:
1. Sapera Camera SDK: CamExpert Tool, Development libraries, programming
example with source code and documentation.
2. Sapera Camera SDK Redistributables: run-time libraries to be distributed
with the user applications to control and configure the cameras.

one of the following compilers: Visual C++ version 6.0, Visual C++ 2003, Visual C++ 2005 (with Service Pack 1), Visual C++ 2008 (with Service Pack 1),Visual C++ 2010 |

been verified to work with the new SDK:
• Matrox® : Radient eCL
• BitFlow™: Karbon-CL
• Silicon Software GmbH: microEnable IV CL:
• Epix PIXCI® EL1DB:
IMPORTANT - When using GenCP compliant Teledyne DALSA cameras with
Teledyne frame grabbers, Sapera LT must be used instead of the Sapera
Camera SDK. It is not possible either install or use Sapera Camera SDK
with Teledyne DALSA frame grabbers.
