Offering high sensitivity and low noise, the Bigeye series of Peltier-cooled cameras deliver excellent capture quality with their active sensor cooling.

Distinguishing themselves by producing low-noise images, these cameras are especially useful for applications requiring long integration time, low noise and very high image quality.. Long exposure times result in sensor warming which produces background noise and low-quality images. The Bigeye camera, with its cooled sensor, generates minimal background noise to produce an excellent signal-to-noise ratio in spite of long exposure times Images produced with the Bigeye are impressive as is necessary for the most demanding applications.

The Bigeye range is supplied with a choice of monochrome or colour sensors (in some models) and the NIR versions are designed for applications requiring sensitivity both in the visible spectrum and the NIR spectrum.
