Built with the efficiency of the established Falcon2 monochrome series, Teledyne Dalsa extends its high-performance, area scan camera series to include three new colour models.that incorporate large resolutions and faster frame rates enabling high speed image capture with superb spatial resolution.
Incorporating the latest technology in CMOS sensors, these Falcon2 colour cameras are ideal for applications such as more detailed electronic component and food inspection, street mapping, medical applications, 3D colour imaging in industrial applications (PCB inspection) and digital cinema.
Unique to the machine vision market, the Falcon2 4M and 8M models come with selectable 4:3 or 1:1 aspect ratios while maintaining the same resolution - a feature not available to other CMOS camera designs. Additionally, the sensor delivers a very low fixed-pattern noise giving better image quality, crisper images and a more accurate representation of what is being inspected.
All three models are mechanically rugged and are thermally stable and so do not need external heat sinks.
