Tips for USB3 cable lengths and iDS cameras

The USB 3.0 interface is still quite new and there are many different USB 3.0 chipsets with different performance levels available on the market.

USB 3.0 cables with a length of 3m or less work well on every USB3 chipset and all IDS cameras.

However, if your application requires a longer USB3 cable it is not always guaranteed that iDS cameras will work with every USB3 chipset.

Using iDS' PCIe USB 3.0 interface cards (AL00014 and AL00015), we can guarantee that the iDS cameras will work with full performance and without any limitations when using the correct USB3 cables.
