The Genie Nano series by Teledyne Dalsa is a CMOS area scan camera series that offers industrial performance at a compelling price point. Built around industry leading CMOS sensor technology, the Genie Nano has been designed to use a range of image sensors including models from Sony's Pregius and ON Semiconductor's Python lines.

Covering a broad range of resolutions from VGA through to 25 megapixels, the Nano delivers high speed, low noise and global shutter. Teledyne Dalsa's Genie Nano provides greater capability than any other camera currently in the same class.

TurboDrive™ technology allows Genie Nano to deliver its full image quality at faster frame
Teledyne Dalsa's 5-GigE cameras use field-proven Sapera LT software featuring CamExpert, as well as being available in multiple resolutions ranging from 3.2MP to 12MP, with fast frame rates from 63 fps to 190 fps.

A prominent feature of the Genie Nano GigE cameras, is that when combined with Teledyne Dalsa's TurboDrive technology, the Genie Nano GigE cameras can deliver its full image quality at faster frame rates—often 150% or higher—with no changes to your GigE network.

When TurboDrive is combined with Teledyne Dalsa's latest Genie Nano GigE cameras, the 5-GigE models, speeds are increased from 595 MB/s to 985 MB/s, the same throughput as a typical 10GE camera but without the associated high cost of ownership. Further, when 1-GigE models are combined with TurboDrive frame rates are increased from 52 fps to 84 fps.

With resolutions of up to 25 megapixels, without changing the dimensions of the camera, the Genie Nano CL gives the added benefits of providing the resolution appropriate for your application as well as delivering the widest range of frames-per-second - from 30 fps up to 144 fps (and greater in partial-scan mode).
 
Leveraging a CoaXPress 6Gbps interface and specifically engineered for industrial imaging applications that require high-speed data transfers, the CXP series of Genie Nano cameras provide resolutions from 16 to 67 megapixels.
