Delivering line rates of up to 400 kHz at 16k resolution, the
Linea HS 32k TDI camera provides high resolution without the associated
expenses that you typically see with a camera in its class.
Awarded the Platinum Innovators Award by the Vision Systems Design
2020 Innovators Awards program, the Linea HS 32k camera leverages
16k/5µm TDI arrays with pixel offset. This camera, captures
two 16k/5µm images in real time, then reconstructs them
to achieve a higher-resolution image of 32k/2.5µm, providing
end-users with enhanced detectability for subpixel defects.
Using 16k/5µm lenses without sacrificing responsivity, Modulation
Transfer Function, and costs associated with a smaller physical
pixel size, significant cost saving is delivered at a system level
for customers. The camera comes with high-speed fibre optic interface
that delivers up to 8.4 GByte/sec data in a single cable and long
cable length. Furthermore, by allowing OEMs to integrate, easily,
the new camera into existing systems, users achieve much higher
performance without needing to change optics.

The Linea HS 32k camera offers a range of outstanding features:
• 32k super resolution
• High speed 150kHz
• High sensitivity TDI
• Bi-directionality
• Assisted alignment marks

Pair
with Xtium2 Frame Grabber for higher frame rates
|
The Linea HS brings your imaging system the speed and power of the
PCIe Gen 3 platform when paired with Xtium2. Offering the high efficiency
of the CameraLink HS interface's X-protocol, the Xtium2 CLHS FX8
supports Active Optical Cable (AOC) and industry standard CX4 cables
with up to 7-CLHS lanes, each operating at 10.3 Gbits/s, to acquire
images at up to 8.4 GBytes/s. The Xtium2-CLHS Frame Grabber features
Teledyne Dalsa's DataTransfer Engine (DTE) and host-based driver
to deliver maximum bandwidth without the need for specialized computer
motherboards or chipsets.
By enabling maximum sustained throughput and ready-to-use
image data, the Xtium2-CLHS FX8 minimizes CPU usage and improves
processing times for host applications. In addition, the Xtium2
series features enhanced memory bandwidth to meet the ever-increasing
image resolution and faster frame rates of today’s camera
technology. They feature host transfers of up to 6.8GB/sec and are
compatible with Microsoft Windows 7&10 (32/64-bit), WOW64 and
Linux.
