IDS Peak 2.0 is a high performance software development kit for
iDS industrial cameras. The platform allows users to capture images
for evaluation and also configure cameras in detail without writing
code. iDS Peak has long been exclusive to iDS uEye+ models, however
the latest release also supports the field-proven iDS uEye cameras
and includes a new C-interface - the IDS Peak ComfortC API.
Until now, uEye camera users have used the IDS Software Suite
for programming. iDS will continue to support iDS Software Suite
but will not continue developing it. Henceforth, iDS Peak is the
suitable solution for new projects due to its future-proof attributes.
iDS Peak supports vision standard transport protocols GigE Vision®
and USB3 Vision® which enables standardised communication
with uEye and uEye+ cameras, ensuring greater compatibility, reproducible
operation and stable data transmission in any application. At
the same time, this maintains the flexibility and independence
of the cameras.
