Small, powerful, high-speed Phantom Miro C211
|
The Phantom
Miro C211 is the next evolutionary stage for the classic Phantom
Miro C110 camera, which will now be discontinued. The Phantom
Miro C211 is designed to be an affordable introductory level camera
for academic endeavours and microscopic research like low speed
cytometry. The Miro C211 has double the frame rate of the C110
and delivers the high quality images we've come to expect from
a Phantom product. This small, powerful, high-speed camera is
one of the few cameras in its category that comes with a 240GB
flash memory included to ensure that data is preserved and easy
to transfer.
The high performance sensor delivers over 2,540 FPS at 720p HD
while maintaining the standard housing of a Phantom C-Series camera.
This makes the imaging solution accessible to researchers in a
larger variety of applications and for more in-depth research.
Data quality is maximised with Phantom's renowned high image quality
and standard features like quiet fans and Image-Based-Auto-Trigger
(IBAT). IBAT allows camera operators to set parameters that will
trigger the automatic capture of an event based on real-time image
analysis.
The combination
of a small 5.6 micron pixel sensor and a C-mount lens means that
this camera can extend into laboratory settings and be easily
mounted to a microscope. The increased versatility of both mounted
and unmounted use and low price point make the Phantom C211 a
high-speed camera that is perfect for entry level use.

The
Miro C211 is an evolution to the Miro C110, with the same C110 sensor
and image quality, but with new enhancements:
|
Increased
frame rate: the C211 achieves 1,800 fps at full 1280 x 1024 (1.3Mpx)
resolution
Internal 240GB CineFlash
Programmable IO
New CSR Default feature (automatic mechanical shutter for
black reference calibration) introduced on the C321 earlier this
year
|
This
means that like the Phantom Miro C110, The Phantom Miro C211 still
has:
|
A 5.6 micron pixel, and very low noise of 10 e-
8GB
or 16GB memory, with up to 63 partitions
BNC's and an RJ45 Ethernet connection, for common cables
SDI through one of the BNC's

Additional
Features
|
1.3Mpx resolution with very low noise and high dynamic range, for
clear images.
Image Based Auto Trigger, FSync, and Image Processing tools
are included
