camera models added to Allied Vision's Alvium Series

 Allied Vision have released nine new camera models in MIPI for CSI-2 ("C"), USB 3.0 ("U") and 5GigE ("G5") to the Alvium series, they include the following: • Alvium 1800 C-234 (Alvium "C" product line). • Alvium 1800 C-235 (Alvium "C" product line). • Alvium 1800 C-812 UV (Alvium "C" product line). • Alvium 1800 U-234 (Alvium "U" product line). • Alvium 1800 U-235 (Alvium "U" product line). • Alvium 1800 U-812 UV (Alvium "U" product line). • Alvium G5-812 UV (Alvium "G5" product line). • Alvium G5-052 (Alvium "G5" product line). • Alvium G5-291 (Alvium "G5" product line). The Alvium camera series is made up of four product lines characterized by interface. The "C" product line (MIPI CSI-2), the "U" product line (USB3 Vision), the "G5" product line (5GigE Vision) and the "G1" product line (GigE Vision). The Alvium camera series is an innovative camera platform that combines embedded sensor modules with Allied Vision's proprietary ASIC to offer extensive functions for image correction and optimization, a large selection of state-of-the-art sensors, intelligent energy management, and a cost-optimized and compact design. The corner-stone technology that provides Alvium cameras with an advantage over competitive products is a customised ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) with integrated Image Signal Processor (ISP) and Image Processing Library (IPL). This gives Allied Vision full control of their camera design and allows them to manufacture a flexible product at a competitive price with short lead-times. |

provides CMOS global and rolling shutter sensors from Sony.

line provides up to 289 frames per second, resolutions up to 20

The Alvium G5 series with a 5GigE Vision interface provides frame rates up to 691 fps at full resolution and 4.2 times more bandwidth than GigE Vision. The G5 cameras are the smallest 5GigE camera, with 11 different Sony IMX sensors, that provide a solution to a wide range of vision applications. |
