Allied
Vision have launched four new extended Goldeye SWIR cameras that
incorporate one of two SWIR inGaAs sensors. One that can detect
wavelengths up to 1.9 µm and the other up to 2.2 µm,
both with high quantum efficiencies. This extended range allows
more unique spectral features to be detected and is crucial for
distinguishing between materials.
The Goldeye
XSWIR family have been carefully designed to withstand the harshest
of environmental conditions with an operating temperature of -20
°C to +55 °C. With a small size, a compact form factor
and multiple mounting options, the Goldeye XSWIR can be easily
fitted into vision systems where space is a premium.
Features
SingleFrame, MultiFrame, Continuous, or RecorderMode acquisition
modes
Non-uniformity correction with automatic adaptation, Defect
pixel correction. Background correction image correction tools
Control up to 32 ROIs
High analog gain modes and digital binning
Auto-Gain, Auto-Contrast, and Look-up tables
User sets
The further
users can see further into the infrared the more unique spectral
features can be detected so to distinguish different materials.
This opens up new imaging opportunities and allows the Goldeye
XSWIR to excel in the following applications:
Airborne remote sensing
Food quality sorting
Moisture detection
Laser beam profiling
Pharmaceutical process control
Cell analysis in bioimaging
Vision enhancement
