Updates to NorPix High speed digital video recording software

NorPix is the leading developer of Digital Video Recording Software and Solutions for high speed video recording using single or multiple cameras. NorPix provides solutions to applications like motion analysis and tracking, medical imaging and research, life science research, industrial trouble shooting and military applications.

NorPix offers multiple software platforms including StreamPix, StreamTouch, TroublePix, Vision Streamer and Hermes API that are tailored specifically to the need of different applications. All support many if not most camera brands supplied by Adept Turnkey

StreamPix:
StreamPix is a powerful software by NorPix that enables high-speed video recording and playback. With StreamPix, you can capture and analyze video footage in real-time. StreamPix offers advanced features like synchronized multi-camera recording and frame-by-frame analysis. StreamPix is designed for a wide variety of camera and video formats and provides an intuitive user interface that is easy-to-use.

StreamTouch:
StreamTouch by NorPix is a software solution that allows for touch-based control, analysis and annotation of video playback. StreamTouch enhances the user experience and makes it easier to review and analyze specific moments of interest.

TroublePix
TroublePix allows users to capture, view and review simultaneously. It provides event capture and marking, continuous looping, pre/post triggering and supports over 200 different brands of cameras and frame grabbers using native API from the camera manufacturer for added performance, stability and speed.

VisionStreamer
VisionStreamer allows users to stream frames from a wide variety of GigE, USB3, 10GigE and 25GigE, Camera Link and CXP machine vision cameras as well as UVC cameras.

32-bit versions no longer supported.
Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 no longer supported.
 
StreamPix 9: version 9.3.1 (64 bit), latest changes:
Added support for Intel GPU with OneAPI for H264 and HEVC compression.
Upgraded a lot of the code to C++ 17 (smart pointers, ranged-for loops, in-class initialization).
Added auto-naming scheme option to pre/post file renaming feature.
Added Font folder.
Default Autocopy folder: enable editing to enter a specific network path name.
Bug Fixes:
Doing "New Sequence, Record, Close Sequence, New Sequence, Stop Record" leaves the recording button disabled.
Recording video + audio in MP4 container generates a blank audio track.
Grabber settings list from the dock panel is not properly refreshed after changing a setting.
Arduino control: serial port reading was occasionally missing some data.
IO manager (MCC USB-1024ls): PORTB was not properly supported.
Removed all hardcoded "ifdef" related to obsolete Phoenix Labs custom build.
Modules:
New module: Computar Lens Control (premium).
Arduino Pulse Gen Module: added Pulse Count mode.
Arduino Pulse Gen: added manual counting mode.
Arduino Pulse Gen: added stop recording for multiple workspace while in counting mode.
Audio Trigger: audio can be handled via Windows Audio Service API.
GPS Positioning: renamed Device type "NMEA" to "NMEA Serial".
Image Splitter: fixed a crash at loading time.
Histogram: thread is processing frames every 100ms by default to reduce overall system load.
Histogram: added an entry in STP4Admin allowing adjusting processing rate.
Time Overlay: fixed settings broadcast operation.
RTSP Streamer: time stamp can be overlaid in the GPU before the image GPU compressed.
Web Streamer: time stamp can be overlaid in the GPU before the image GPU compressed.
StreamPix Remote:
New: added "CloseDestination" XML Vicon command.
Added new notifications for when all clients have created or closed their target files.
 
StreamTouch: Version 2.3.1 (64 bit), latest changes:

TroublePix: Version 5.3.1 (64 bit), latest changes:

Hermes API Version August 18, 2023 (64 bit), latest changes:
Added support for exporting Mono24, Bayer24, BGR72 and RGB72 image formats.
AVI file: fixed handle leak when creating/destroying DX graph.
Added text overlay support for H264 compression.
The TimeStampAmbientLanc driver should burn the LTC in the image if the BurnLTCValue flag is set in the registry (or from STP4Admin).

• SEQ: added automatic image crop when recording / exporting to HEVC so that image X and Y size is modulo of 32 and compatible with hardware encoder.
• Sequencer: added a setting to avoid decompressing frames upon reading for exporting.
• DemoPlay/DemoPlay.NET: added sample code for bayer conversion and metadata display.
• DemoPlay/DemoPlay.NET: added sample code for color processing (White balance).
• Added support for WIBU licensing with multiple user.
