Gocator G2600 family remastered. Faster default scan speed. Higher Resolution.

LMI have launched the Remastered Gocator 2600 Series. The Gocator 2600 series is a family of powerful 4K+ smart 3D laser line profilers and have now been optimized for faster default scan speeds, enhanced data quality, increased scanning versatility, and higher 4K+ resolutions.

The remastered sensors are ideal for a wide range of inspection applications from small part inspection in EV battery manufacturing, Consumer Electronics to larger coverage applications in Food Processing, Building Materials, Automotive, Rubber & Tyre, and general factory automation.

The remastered Gocator G2600 sensors will ship with Gocator Firmware version 6.3. This new firmware release contains all the latest features and improvements that drive the Gocator G2600 Series'. Existing Gocator 2600 customers are encouraged to upgrade their sensors to these new features and improvements by installing the Gocator Firmware 6.3 files available now from LMI Product Downloads.

Compared to the 6.2 Firmware that was released for the original G2600 Series only, this release now supports all Gocator Laser Line Profilers (G2) and Gocator Snapshot Sensors (G3).

• The remastered Gocator G2610 achieves profile and surface data at down to 2.5 microns X resolution for in-line dimensional measurement

• The remastered Gocator G2618 provides 5 micron X resolution at 20 mm field of view

• The remastered Gocator High Dynamic Range (HDR) Mode improves scan quality on challenging targets that previously were susceptible to over or underexposed features .

• With the previous version of the Gocator, some targets needed multiple exposures for challenging features but can now be captured with a single exposure and faster cycle time.

• The Gocator 2600 Series has been optimized to provide higher default scan speeds. Existing job files will retain their original configuration and scan speeds.

• The Remastered Gocator G2600 has been optimized for surface flatness with a pre-processing pipeline to reduce spatial noise
