The Linea Lite by Teledyne Dalsa is a compact and powerful line scanner that is 45% smaller than the original Linea. This camera is designed to allow end-users to access lower system costs.

Built for a wide range of machine vision applications, Linea Lite cameras are based on Teledyne’s proprietary multi line CMOS image sensor technology. The Linea Lite 8k uses a novel approach with two 4096 7μm pixel lines captured simultaneously to reconstruct and achieve a super resolution image of 8192 3.5μm pixels. Teledyne Dalsa’s unique approach to this significantly enhances the signal-to-noise ratio and the detectability of sub-pixel defects.

TurboDrive
Teledyne Dalsa’s proprietary TurboDrive technology allows the Linea Lite to deliver its full image quality at line rates up to 50 kHz sustained (and up to 64kHz in burst mode) with no effect on image quality and no changes to your hardware and software. TurboDrive is enabled through CamExpert software or through the Sapera LT API both delivered at no cost with the camera.

Trigger to Image Reliability
All of Teledyne Dalsa's Linea Lite cameras offer the Trigger to Image Reliability (T2IR) framework. T2IR is a combination of hardware and software features that underpin the Linea Lite’s overall system functionality making it reliable in the most challenging environments. It controls and monitors the entire process from trigger through image capture to the transfer of image data to host memory. T2IR manages in-built camera memory to store images temporarily in overflow conditions due to unexpected transfer bottlenecks. More than that, it allows the system designer to monitor, audit and debug image flow during system integration. That means no lost data, no false data, and a clear source to identify and track any errors.
