Sapera
LT image acquisition and control SDK (ver. 8.0) is now released
and available without cost.  This
fully backward-compatible release offers new features and streamlined
packaging for Microsoft® Windows®7, Windows 8.0/8.1, 64
and 32-bit platforms and supports image acquisition from devices
built around the GigE Vision®, Camera Link® and Camera Link
HS™ interface standards.Featuring Teledyne DALSA's new TurboDrive technology, the software enables the delivery of higher speed data and expands the data transfer capabilities of select Teledyne DALSA cameras. For use with Teledyne DALSA cameras and frame grabbers, Sapera LT SDK delivers a new level of advanced functionality and offers a rich development environment to support a broad range of 3rd-party imaging components. Integrating with Teledyne DALSA's GigE Vision driver, CamExpert's intuitive graphical interface for quick setup and configuration, and the powerful Trigger-to-Image Reliability (T2IR) framework, the Sapera LT is available for download at no cost. With this increased flexibility and capability, Sapera LT 8.0 lays the foundation for Teledyne DALSA's new low cost area and line scan camera families such as Linea.
What is TurboDrive? TurboDrive speeds data transfers using a proprietary, patent pending technology that assembles data from the sensor to optimize throughput and take full advantage of sensor data rates and the camera's maximum data transfer capability. (Read more about TurboDrive) What is T2IR? T2IR is a set of programmable functions within the Sapera SDK that supports the real-time traceability of the image acquisition and transfer process. Developers can build detection, monitoring, diagnostic and prevention capabilities directly into their application, including which features are exposed, distributed, and utilized. T2IR combines hardware and software functions including visual indicators on the hardware, software libraries and stand-alone utilities that run non-intrusively alongside existing Sapera applications. |
