Ideal solution for space-and-cost-critical applications

Autovimation's Colibri series of protective housings were developed because of customer demand for an extremely small and cost-effective protective housing.

With just 50 x 50 mm (w x h) and 181 mm, or 211 mm, the overall length is only slightly larger than the protected camera with lens and port.

Adding very little to the camera's size, and weighing just over 400 g, Colibri is ideally suited for mobile applications.

Rated IP66 and NEMA 4 + 6 *** (see below), Colibri enclosures are built for cameras with a 29 x 29 or 30 x 30 mm cross section and lenses with a maximum diameter of 39 mm and adds only 10 mm space between the camera and the outer enclosure wall. A variety of connectors with up to 20.5 mm in diameter can be inserted. The 30 - 40 mm profile adapter can be easily fitted to the modular design and are attached to machines with a newly-developed dovetail profile system. Using an M25 cable gland allows feed-through and sealing of cables/plugs with diameters of up to 21 mm.

The enclosure's opening window enables the use of wide-angle lens as they can be installed right behind the front window. Additionally, optional, tamper-proof enclosure lids can be attached to prevent unauthorised adjustment of the lens.
