Deep-Cooled, High-Sensitivity Digital CCD Camera

The QImaging® Retiga-SRV CCD digital camera has been specially engineered for low-light, high-speed, high-sensitivity applications. A three-stage Peltier device and an all-metal, hermetic-vacuum-sealed CCD chamber provide state-of-the-art cooling to -30C; the camera's software-selectable, regulated cooling enables precise control in single-degree increments.

The Retiga-SRV features a 1.4-megapixel CCD providing highly detailed and sharp features also a 12-bit digital output makes the Retiga-SRV ideal for automated imaging applications. The Retiga-SRV uses IEEE 1394 (firewire) interface for enhanced connectivity and noise-shielding performance. By utilising a firewire interface the Retiga-SRV is simple of installation and guarantees ease of use, firewire also enables remote use with laptop connectivity and the ability to use multiple cameras from the same port.

Additionally, the camera comes with iGlo™ Technology, which features an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display that provides users with key information about camera settings in a convenient, ergonomic way. The Retiga-SRV allows you to select from a large selection of life science & industrial software for microscopy, machine vision, & video-streaming.

The Retiga-SRV CCD digital camera is suited for a range of scientific applications, such as Quantitative Fluorescence Microscopy, FRET, Live-Cell, Fluorescent Protein Imaging, Ratiometric Analysis (Ca2+, pH, etc.), Whole Animal Fluorescence, FRAP and FISH.
