Lasiris SNF Lasers | StokerYale
StockerYale's complete line of Lasiris SNF beam shaping optics
transforms the familiar laser dot into different shapes and sizes. For
example, a straight line can be projected by allowing one dimension of
light to fan out while maintaining tight control over the other, resulting
in a sheet-of-light.
What distinguishes the SNF series lasers from conventional cylindrical
optics is the evenness of the illumination pattern. While many lasers
use a glass rod to spread a laser dot into a Gaussian line, our laser
system incorporates a patented optical line generator that eliminates
Gaussian distribution of the light and so provides a laser line with flat
intensity across its full length. The design thus provides superior quality
light patterns while avoiding the intricacies of installation alignment
and detector calibration.
The Stocker Yale SNF series of lasers include lasers from 1mW to 100mW
and provide a variety of patterns including single and multiple straight
lines, dot lines and and dot matrices, circles and concentric circles,
squares and crosshair patterns. Optics can be selected with varying fan
angles to produce the correct size pattern at the required working distance.
All SNF series lasers are in the visible red or infra-red range but Stocker
Yale also offer green solid state lasers.
