NorPix, a developer of high-speed digital video capture software
for ultra slow-motion, have introduced the latest edition of StreamPix.
Featuring high-speed capture
and recording capabilities StreamPix is suited to tasks related
to rapidly resolving and preventing paper break events at paper
mills and printing presses.
When a paper-break event is detected, StreamPix software automatically
marks the event in the video recording. Teams can then easily
review the pre-event and post-event video by using the slow motion
and frame-by-frame playback modes present in the software tools.
Software running on the StreamPix Recording Station can capture
images simultaneously from multiple cameras
Up to 16 cameras per computer
Using industry-standard protocols such as GigE Vision at
GigE, 10 GigE, or 25 GigE speeds, Camera Link, and CoaXPress.
Supports over 200 different brands of machine vision cameras.
High frame rate, multiple resolution such as VGA at 1600
fps, HD at 1000 fps, 6.4 MP and higher at 174 fps.
Supported Cameras list for StreamPix
Long time recording with JPEG compression.
Portable or desktop computer.
Multi camera synchronization.
Interconnect with your PLC via Modbus TCP, OPC or direct
DC input 5v, 24v or contact closure.
It can capture images from each camera at 800 x 600 pixel
resolution, at up to 1578 frames per second, recording up to 189
hours of continuous image data, stored either uncompressed or
in JPEG format.
Event monitored video available as standard compressed
MP4 or AVI.
StreamPix can be applied to many applications other than paper
production. Any production line that requires high speed monitoring
with event detection could use StreamPix as a fault analysis system
