The Nerian Ruby 3D depth camera combines the best features from structured
light and stereo vision sensors with the aim of removing the limitations
of each of the respective technology models. The clever design of the
Nerian Ruby has resulted in the creation of an affordable and great all-round
3D vision solution for demanding applications.
The Nerian Ruby has three image sensors: two monochrome sensors for
depth perception and an additional colour sensor. The camera also includes
the integration of an infrared pattern projector which improves depth
perception but is invisible to the colour sensor. The Nerian Ruby allows
users to access fast 3D measurement results and clear colour information
simultaneously.
The ability of the Nerian Ruby to work indoors and outdoors and to image
short and long distances makes it a very handy tool for your any 3D development.
